PASSIONATE, INSPIRED, SUSTAINABLE: WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR YOU?

The passion for working at Streparava increases with the years that you spend at the company, helping you every day to find the inspiration for a new mode of action, different to usual operations, with a single objective: to do everything possible to ensure that the company is sustainable and can last for a long time, for us and for future generations.

WHICH ARE THE MILESTONES OF STREPARAVA’S SUCCESS OVER THE LAST 70 YEARS?

Without doubt, absolutely, the founder “Gino” Streparava, who created a company starting from scratch, and then the rest of the Family whom, guided by passion, the spirit of enterprise and sacrifice, succeeded in maintaining it and, over the course of 70 years, extended its structure and its power on the market, giving rise to a presence that has won recognition on all international spheres.

WHAT IS IT THAT SETS STREPARAVA APART FROM OTHER COMPANIES IN THE SAME SECTOR?

We are quick to propose solutions for our Clients, we care about people, we work in total safety. All considered, we have a greater liking for “making things happen”.

THE YEAR 2020 HAS RADICALLY CHANGED THE WORLD OF WORK. HOW HAS IT AFFECTED STREPARAVA’S ACTIVITIES?

A year very different to all the others lived up until now, a year that showed us that it is impossible to forecast all events, but that enabled us to reinforce our team spirit and to understand that people are, and always will be, the instruments making it possible to emerge from whatever crisis that the market and/or context may reserve us in future years.

WHAT GIVES YOU MOST PRIDE IN YOUR WORK AT STREPARAVA?

After over 20 years at the company, I believe that our principal role is to enable the people in our team to develop their expertise, becoming role models, teachers and leaders for them, striving for continuous improvement day after day with a single objective: to work in such a way that this company can continue to operate with skilled staff, who are able to make it even better in the future than it is already today.

WHAT IS THE MOST OBVIOUS AND EFFECTIVE TECHNOLOGICAL IMPROVEMENT TO HAVE BEEN DEVISED BY STREPARAVA?

By means of new technology, over the last 15 years we have tried to make work easier for all our employees by means of the introduction of many robotic tools and more ergonomic machinery: we have developed, and we are continuing to develop, products and processes that will enable us to be ready for the challenges of the future.

OVER THE YEARS, WHAT DO YOU THINK HAS BEEN THE BEST INVESTMENT?

I think, or rather I am sure: 1978, when Streparava accepted and won the challenge of investing in the independent front suspension of the Daily vehicle.

FOR THE COMPANY’S FUTURE, HOW IMPORTANT IS THE DECISION TO MOVE TOWARDS PRODUCTION HALLMARKED BY SUSTAINABILITY?

Every day, in order to make products we use a lot of energy, water, and raw materials from our planet: we have the duty of striving to achieve minimum consumption in every product and process.

IN YOUR OPINION, WHICH OPERATION PERFORMED FOR THE BENEFIT OF STAFF WAS MOST APPRECIATED BY THE EMPLOYEES?

Fabbrica in Famiglia (Factory in the Family) in 2016: opening the company to the families of all our employees enabled us to understand that every day, we work, and accept challenges, for many individuals and their families. Without doubt, a part of our future will be found in these families.
